I had a very creative childhood growing up in the Black Hills of South Dakota. It seems like there was not a day that wasn't filled with magic markers or make-believe with my three sisters.
Early on I knew I wanted to pursue art, and with my love of computers in the mix, decided to earn my BFA in graphic design at Montana State University, where I enjoyed combining and experimenting with the related fields of studio art, illustration and design.
Since, I have worked as a freelance designer and illustrator for a vast range of clients and industries, including film, apparel, food, real estate, gaming, skiing and comics. Currently I am working full-time as graphic designer for the Outlaw Partners in Big Sky, MT - a full service creative marketing agency. I try to paint whenever I get a spare minute...though exceptions are made when there's fresh powder or good music to go see!
Things that make me happy: puns, music, snowboarding, coffee, wine, traveling, mustaches, bike brigades, giant ferns, breakfast burritos, family, friends and Tom Robbins.
